Abstract:The aim of our study is to establish indoor micro-ecological environment for the life cycle of Clonorchis sinensis. The aquarium for breeding Pseudorasbora parva was 120 cm×60 cm×50 cm in size, and be divided into three sections; the basin for breeding Parafossarulus striatulus was 66 cm×40 cm×18 cm, and the bottom was covered with mud, and the Valisneria spiralis was planted, 24 hours oxygenation and pumping circulation, 12 hours of light, and change the water in half every 2 weeks. Place the eggs and snails together in a plate to keep 8 hours for infection, the ratio of the snail to eggs was about 1:50, repeat once a week for 3 times in a row. The collected cercariae and Pseudorasbora parva were put into a large beaker with 1 000 mL water for infection overnight. Results showed that both the Parafossarulus striatulus and Pseudorasbora parva could grow and reproduce normally in the feeding environment. The infection rate of Parafossarulus striatulus was 4.9%, and the rate of the total number of metacercariae formed compared to the number of cercariae used for infection was about 30.65%. In conclusion, the indoor microenvironment of the life cycle of Clonorchis sinensis is successfully to establish.
