Abstract:Brucellosis is one of the most common zoonosis in the world, which is mostly caused by infected sheep, followed by cattle and pigs. In the past 20 years, great progress had been made in the prevention and control of brucellosis in human and animals. However, due to its nonspecific clinical manifestations, controlling and eradicating brucellosis still faces great challenges. With the rapid development of molecular biology technology since 1990s, molecular biology detection methods have been used to rapidly detect and study Brucella at home and abroad. At the same time, due to the establishment of global data sharing database, the global research on brucellosis is more and more in-depth.
