Abstract:The effect of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in detecting plague F1 antibody was investigated and its application perspective was analyzed in Marmota baibacina-Citellus undulatus plague focus. Plague F1 antibody was detected synchronously with ELISA and IHA (indirect hemagglutination test) in animal serum, and the positive rate and reaction titer were compared. The positive rates of Citellus undulatus were 11.71% (118/1 008) and 1.73% (21/1 216) for ELISA and IHA, and the average titers were 27.805 and 21.254, respectively. The positive rates of husbandry dogs were 38.89% (28/72) and 10.71% (7/75) for ELISA and IHA, and the average titers were 27.731 and 21.50, respectively. ELISA had higher positive rate and average titer than IHA in detecting plague F1 antibody of animal serum (P<0.001). The error result of a single method due to reagent deterioration or failure could be timely discovered and corrected by synchronously using the two methods in plague surveillance, and exact monitoring data could be provided for the development of prevention and control.
