Abstract：Objective To realize the infection of metacercaria of Clonorchis sinensis in fish and survival of metacercaria in vitro.Methods Separated metacercaria from Ctenopharygodon idellus and Aristichthys nobilis,and counted the different growth states of metacercaria.Kept one bottle that contained metacercaria at 4℃ and another at 30℃.Put metacercaria in 10ml and 100ml of reserving solution respectively to observe the survival of metacercaria.Results The percentage of maturation and the percentage of survival of metacercaria in A.nobilis were higher than these in C.idellus.The metacercaria at 30℃ matured faster, the save time was shorter than at 4℃;Some of metacercaria appeared diapaused at 4℃.Different volumes of reserving solution have no influence on the survival.Conclusion The colony of metacercaria could keep stable growing ability in fish and in vitro;Different growth states were existed at the same time, to make it easier for the colony to keep the competences of growth and maturation, and to hold its stabile infective ability.
