Abstract:Aim To study the regulation of reinfection with Schistosomia japonicum in population after chemotherapy.Methods A longitudinal study was carried in 3 villages chosen to be pilots in the east,wester and south Dongting lake,respectively.Results The average reinfected rate of the incidents was 24 80% annually,which contained the highest one of 34 08% in village C and lowest one of 14 44% in village B.A ccording to ages,The stool positive rate is in direct proportion to reinfected rate (r=0 92,Y∧=-2 79+2 39X);the reinfected tate of male is higher than female obviously(χ 2=51 54, P< 0 01);in different occupations,fishmen has the highest rate of reinfected rate which is 47 50%,peasaents is the second 19 78% and students is the lowest of 13 98%.conclusion Reinfected rate is high in population after chemotherapy in Dongting lake region,which is relationship among peoples's stool positive,sex,age and accupation.
