Abstract:The specific non-free circulating antigen(NF-CAg) of dissociated CIC in sera from 370 cases was detected by ELISA with anti-SEA polyclonal antibody. The cases consisted of acute, chronic and advanced schistosomiasis, cured schistosomiasis, other parasitosis and healthy individuals. The positive rates of acute, chronic and advanced schistosomiasis cases were 76.7%, 80.0% and 60.0% respectively. The NF-CAg level(mean OD values) of this group was higher than those of healthy individuals significantly(P<0.01). The cross reaction rates with other parasitosis cases were 5.0~10.0% and the false positive rate of healthy individuals was 8.8%. The turned negative rates treated after 3 months, 6 months and 3 years were 86. 7 %,82. 0% and 96.7% respectively, and the NF-CAg levels of all those were approaching or lower than those healthy individuals. The results further showed that the specific NF-CAg of dissociated CIC was possessed of value for the diagnosis and the eveluation of effective chemotherapy.
