Comparison between the existence states of the hemo-lymphocytes in Oncomelania hupensis snails dually infected by larval Exorchis mupingensis and Schistosoma japonicum at different intervals
Abstract:Present manuscript reports the result of comparison between the numbers of hemo- lymphocytes in snail tissue and abnormal larval Schistosoma japonicum body in Oncomelania hupensis which were dually infected with larval Exorchis mupingensis Jiang,2011 and S. japonicum for different intervals. The total number of 3 species (large, mediate and small) hemo-lymphocytes in snail tissue around 50 S. japonicum larvae were respectively 143, 386, 219;and the total number of 3 species hemo-lymphocytes in 50 S. japonicum larval bodies respectively were 40, 65, 60;their total number were respectively 183, 451, 279 and their total average number in snail of each S. japonicum larva were respectively 3.7, 9, 5.6. Each species hemo-lymphocytes number and its percentage in 5 dually infected snails with different interval as follow:21 days interval:9(45%),15.9(35%),7.4(27%);37 days interval:4.1(21%),11(24%),7.8(29%); 55 days interval:3.6粒(18%),8.6(18%),5.2粒(19%);70 days interval:2(10%),7.9(17%),3.4(13%); 85 days interval:1.2(6%),2.9(6%),3.1(11%)。The result indicated that hemo-lymphocytes numbers and their percentage in O. hupensis snails dually infected for longer intervals were more few and low than that for shorter intervals.
