Abstract:Cysticercosis cellulosae, commonly called cysticercosis, is a serious zoonotic parasitic diseases caused by the larval (Cysticercus cellulosae) stage of the metacestode Taenia solium (Ts), presenting global distribution. The disease is distributed mainly among Central Africa, South Africa, Latin America, and East and South Asia regions globally, and Heilongjiang, Jilin, Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Sichuan, and Guizhou provinces in China. Current researches mainly focus on cloning, expression and biological function of the antigen genes of different stage Ts with molecular biology technique. This paper describes the research progress on recombinant antigens of oncosphere, Cysticercus cellulosae, and adult Ts.
