Abstract:To realize the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of human infection with avian influenza A (H7N9) virus, case survey and descriptive method were used. The results showed that 15 persons were confirmed with H7N9 infection, including 4 deaths. All of the cases admitted to have had a history of exposure to poultry. All samples collected from close contacts of the patients were negative. Our study showed that the majority of confirmed cases were among the aged males. Strengthening monitoring in the people and environment was the key work for prevention and control H7N9 virus.
