Abstract:Cryptosporidium sp. is one of the most common causes of diarrhea in humans and animals worldwide and transmitted via waterborne and foodborne transmission. In this paper, a review of the classification, zoonotic risk, pathogenicity, and geographical isolation on cryptosporidiosis of equine were summarized, which may provide a reference for the effective prevention and control of cryptosporidiosis.
