Abstract:Brucellosis is one of the most prevalent bacterial zoonotic disease causing significant economic losses due to the livestock abortion, it is also a most grave public health problem in many developing countries. Elucidate the pathogenesis mechanism of Brucella spp. is a crucial for vaccine research and development, and vaccine immunization is an effectiveness measures to precaution Brucellosis. At present, there is no safe and protection human vaccine against brucellosis, the only preventive strategy is animal vaccination, but the annual incidence of human and animal brucellosis is still high, which harbors significant disadvantages. Recently, many immune proteins of Brucella were detected and evaluated, and some new subunit vaccine showing excellent immune potential. This review represents an overview of brucellosis in intracelluar survival and vaccine research advance, providing a valuable reference for related research.
