Abstract:To develop a simple, sensitive and specific method on detection of antibodies against Brucellosis, the recombinant Brucella outer membrane protein OMP22 and OMP28 was labeled with colloidal gold, anti-OMP22 monoclonal antibody was used to provide the control line, and OMP22 and OMP28 mixed protein was served as test line, respectively. The results showed that the maximum dilution of the Bovine Brucella standard positive serum was 1:128. There was no cross reaction with the sera of other related disease. The rate of concordance between strips and ELISA kit (IDEXX) was 95%, and the coincidence rate with the tiger red plate aggutination test(RBPT) was 97.4%. It is suggested that the colloidal gold immunochromatographic test strip can be used to quickly and accurately detect antibodies against brucellosis and to be suitable for clinical diagnosis and epidemiological study of brucellosis.
