Abstract:Influenza, an acute respiratory infectious disease worldwide, generate increased burden on human health, healthcare utilization and substantial socio-economic burden on families and society. The analysis of disease burden associated with influenza is of great significance for the adjustment of vaccination strategies and optimization of the allocation of public health resources. In this paper, relevant articles and official reports were searched focusing on the disease burden of influenza in China in recent years, aiming to reflect the impact of influenza on human health and social economy comprehensively and provide proof for the prevention and control policies on influenza, these findings highlight the possible value of an in fluenza vaccination program.
