Abstract：The Zika virus infection has occurred in South America since 2015, and about 2 million people have been infected with Zika virus. It has become the most important public health event in the world in recent years. Although no pandemics of Zika virus infection has been found in Asian countries, a large number of indigenous cases of Zika virus infection have been found in India, Thailand, Vietnam and other places in Asia, and Zika virus has been isolated from natural mosquito specimens collected in China. These shows that there is a potential risk of Zika virus infection in Asia, the prevalence of Zika virus infection in Asia will pose a huge threat to China’s public health. Therefore, it is of great significance for Chinese medical treatment and public health personnel to pay attention to the Zika virus and its infection in Asian countries.
