Abstract:Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS)is a disease of global distribution, caused by RNA viruses with a single negative chain of segments, mainly transmitted by rodents and clinically typical infectious disease. During the most serious epidemic period in the 1970 s~1980 s of last century, China had adopted comprehensive prevention and control measures, which mainly focus on rodent control and prevention. Since the 1990s, vaccine has been developed against the disease, so that the epidemic situation of HFRS has been controlled. With China’s economic development, urban and rural environment has also undergone great changes, however the disease still occurs from time to time. In view of its harmfulness, this review briefly describes the characteristics of the disease in several aspects aiming to prevent the occurrence of the disease.
