Abstract Aeromonas is one of the serious pathogens which can infect mammals and aquatic organisms. And it poses a serious threat to human health, causing humans gastroenteritis, peritonitis, sepsis and traumatic infections. In addition, it has caused great economic losses to the aquaculture industry. In order to provide the reference for the prevention and treatment of A. veroii, this article will provide an overview of the latest research progress on its etiology, clinical features, current situation and pathogenesis.
